Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) – Winlator Settings

First download and install latest version of Winlator application. You can download GTA V setup files from steam or other sources. Once setup and other required files are downloaded use below settings on Winlator application for smooth experience.

Winlator Settings

First open Winlator application. Go to “Settings”.

Set Box64 Version as 0.3.1

Set Box64 version to 0.3.1. Click download icon next to Box64 versions options if you can’t find the version 0.3.1.

Select the version 0.3.1 from the list and press “Ok”.

Box64 Preset

1. Select Performance from the list.
2. Duplicate Performance settings by clicking plus icon.
3. Select edit icon to edit.

Set first option to zero and save.

Container Settings

Click on plus icon to create a new container.

For Android devices with Adreno GPU use Turnip (Adreno) driver. All other devices use new Vortex (Universal) graphic driver. Here I am using Turnip (Adreno). Make sure to use latest version.

1. Select Turnip (Adreno) driver from Graphic Driver option.
2. Select settings icon next to Turnip graphic driver
3. Select download icon next to delete icon of Turnip Configuration.
4. Select the latest version available and click “OK” to download and install.
5. Make sure to tick “Sync every frame” option.

Select DXVK for DX Wrapper option. Next select settings icon next DX Wrapper option. Under DXVK configurations select the version 1.10.3. If you device isn’t support this version go with the latest version.

Select the maximum video memory available.

Advance Settings

Go to “Advanced” settings.

1. Select previously created Box64 preset.
2. Startup selection as “Aggressive”
3. Windows version as “Windows 10”.
4. Select all the CPU options.

Save these settings. Run this container and enjoy Grand Theft Auto V.
